vacation lets you match wits with tasty walleye, scrappy small
mouth, tail walking largemouth and fighting, thrashing northern's.
There are a dozen other species to thrill you including plenty
of pan fish, big channel cats and the pre-historic sturgeon. It's
a true adventure in Canadian Angling.

We are equipped to handle all your
fishing and boating needs with a 1,000 feet of docking space
capable of mooring over 50 boats of all sizes as well as
access to fuel and power. Navigational charts and fishing
depth maps are available and our fleet of Lund boats and
Yamaha motors are the best rental "rights" on
the water. We will even brief you on the fishing "hot spots".
A hard surface road (paved) leads right to the resort. Children's
life jackets are not supplied. Boats & motors are 16'
or 14' boats with 15hp motors equipped with paddles, anchor,
life jackets and safety kit. Laurentian View Resort accepts
responsibility for having all boats/motors in good running
order when taken by guests. Guests in turn are responsible
for the equipment and damages to a maximum of $500.00. No
refunds for fuel left in tanks at end of rental periods.

FISHING ALONG THE SCENIC
OTTAWA RIVER
Walleye
Tributary streams, back-water areas, sand bars
nd tail waters below dams harbor plenty of spring walleye. Eddies,
current breaks and rocky ledges in the fast water offer consistent
action during the summer. Ahhhhh...autumn. The river is all yours!
The rapids continue to produce in early fall. As water colls,
sandbars, shoreline points and island areas yield choice catches.

Smallmouth Bass
The Ottawa River has an untapped small mouth
fishery. Tributary rivers mouths, grave/sandy bars and undercut
banks produce terrific action. Pools below riffles, old fallen
trees and rocky points hold an abundance of fighting bronze backs
as do deep holes, eddies and steep ledges. Spring fishing is great,
summer angling is super and autumn is trophy time. Call now ---
